I can understand the reasoning, but in all honesty the Saints should be the #2 seed playing in the NAFL Nationals, not the Jags. By rights of finishing second in the league to date, the should represent the northwest. But by some odd reason, that wasnt addressed earlier in the year, the Raiders and the Saints were the only teams left off the NAFL region for the Northwest. All other NWFL teams were included, how odd? Nothing against the Jags, but it comes down to who actually earned the spot to go. This is just my opinion.

The Panthers were omitted as well as the Raiders and Saints.
Word from the NAFL is that these teams "wanted nothing to do with the NAFL at the beginning of the season."
I'm not sure what that means but that's the explanation I received straight from the NAFL.

John, Thats not true, we, the Saints, were listed the first two weeks of the season then, all of a sudden, we weren't? Read the emails I sent you.

Rick/Randy et al,
The email Mike forwarded to me stating the Saints were accepted into the NAFL looks just like the emails I've seen for other NWFL/NAFL teams.
I've also seen the May 25 NAFL email which contains the Saints application and confirms that all fees were taken care.
It appears that the Saints took care of business on their end. The wires obviously got crossed somewhere. I just wish we realized there was a problem before it was too late.
I'm waiting for further clarification from the NAFL.
