It sadens me to say this, but I have to retire from coaching in the NWFL. The Jags will have a team next year, but with a new coach,to be named later.
I want to thank all the owners, players and coach for the 5 wonderful years.
The Jags are still move toward the nationals and have practice on Tuesday, but this will be my last run.
Thank you for give me a chance to coach in the best league in the country.

Godspeed Coach Scott! Thank you for the opportunity to play on a winning program with a tight knit group of guys. You made it that far without drastically altering your roster, adding this and that player, or paying this and that player. You won and lost with class. I hate that you couldnt get that elusive NWFL Championship before you got out. (Even though we should be playing Saturday!)

Jeff, It was a pleasure to play for you, I learned a lot and I plan to instill the same intensity in my young players. I know there were times we didn't see eye - to - eye, but I still respect you and your knowledge of the game. I believe you deserve some kind of recognition or coach of the year award for your 2003 season. So since you are retiring, what are you going to do with your spare time? Thank you DSMITH #6 Eastside Hawks P.S. I told you would get your championship. (Great Career)
