Fellas, like every year the New Year has come and gone and the countdown has started for you and I and football to get real again. Many of you have voiced opinions and concerns to me over the last few weeks about the 2012 and upcoming 2013 seasons.
My response to most of these issues is, this happens every year about this time! What I see is we have an opportunity to re-man and re-fit a perennial powerhouse team in 2013. An opportunity to mold a new team structure that believes in itself and is not afraid to change with the teams needs.
(Questions): What most of you really want to know is what will be best for ourselves, our families and having some fun this season? (Playtime, having fun and how much will it cost is the real bottom line when you get right down to it) Who are my coaches? Will I learn anything new this year? Will I get better or worse? Will I stay injury free? Will I feel good about myself and my team when the 2013 season is all over?
Unfortunately most of these questions can only be answered once you make up your mind to commit to the team with all its perks and hardships and start coming to practice and playing the games. There are no guarantees or short cuts. Each of you knows yourself better than anyone else. Only you know if you can take on a 2013 football challenge with a 100% commitment?
Commitment simply means you are with us or you are not. Are you in or out? The middle of the road just wont work.
In just under a month we will find out who will fill out the team roster(s). How many veteran and how many new players will make up this years team. We need players who have the desire to do whats necessary and required to improve themselves and their teammates every week.
Just remember every day you either get better or worse their is "no" staying the same.
Attendance is the first step to all football and life success. Can we count on you....................
