Fellas, good practice turnout last Saturday at Madrona.
Just 27 days until we go head to head with the Bengals. We still have a long way to go. Keep the attendance up and the attitudes positive.
This coming Saturday the 24th is a big day for the 2012 Vikings.
We are going to gear!!!!
Gear will be issued at practice from Coach Fishers trailer beginning at 9am (sharp) the trailer will close at 10am when practice begins. The trailer will reopen at 1pm until 130pm during the lunch break and close again until the end of practice at 3pm. The trailer will re-open again at 3pm until 4pm. After that you will be out of luck until the next Saturday the 31st.
Player fees. Players need to be at the $245 level prior to receiving their gear on the 24th and the balance of fees due at practice Thursday night April 19th. Keep in mind that if you have your own equipment you still need to be at the $245 payment level.
Note: on the 24th if you do not have your gear for what ever the reason you "will not" be allowed to practice with the rest of the team until you do.[/u]
Note: if your fees are not paid in full on the April 19th date you will not be issued a uniform for the Bengals game and beyond if not paid.[/u]
Helmet Painting: we had 11 players stay after practice to strip down and prep their personal helmets ready for paint. Jason Snow had 5 helmets professionally done with him at practice (sweet) and has a contact to do more.
Get with him double ASAP if you want your helmet painted before the 24th. Remember that you "cannot practice" with the team without proper equipment.
Intensity and commitment needs to begin to surge now on both sides of the ball.
Equipment that you supply for yourself needs to get squared away ASAP. Smash Mouth Football is here at last. Are you ready for the challenge? We will See...................
