I hate to brag, but I think I had 1500 yards and 14 touch downs in one season, but I haven't been able to do that since I bought the new Madden football game.

I think Mike Harris did it for the Vikings in 2000...

Mike did do it 2000 and EJ in 2004, EJ had close to something like 1500 yards (or even more) for the Eastside hawks. I'm also sure that Antonio Chandler had 1000 yards receiving that year as well. Just go and click onto the Record Book. GP

GP,
I think they gave up on that record book link up above. I know for a fact that the receiving TD record was smashed in 2008. Pipe had 28 receiving TD's.

Mike Harris did have over 1000 yards that year AND his season was cut short becasuse he was in the Navy and had to ship off to Saudi. Imagine what he might have gotten had he been able to finish the season?

The league changed focus around 2004 or '05 and the only team willing to consistently turn in stats or film was the Vikings. Before that, and before I had kids, many teams would send in film. Even if a couple of teams never submitted stats or film, I could still get their stats from the film submitted by their opponents. In addition to the games I attended, I'd watch 5-8 games a week on film. Sometime around 2002-'04 the stats became very personal. Several owners knowingly screwed their own players pawns and withheld stats or film for personal reasons. They got a hard-on making it difficult for me to post comprehensive league stats.
EJ could have easily had "something like" 1500 yards, but "something like" doesn't fly in a record book. Unfortunately for him, he played for a control freak owner he wouldn't allow me to post anything about his team because he didn't want to give opponents any information they could use. Fortunately the team filmer had much better foresight, but not until after the season was over.
EJ Ash, 2004 regular season 7 of 7 games reported) 110-839 7.6 13TD (long 80) (high game 152) all games 13 of 14 games reported) 222-1672 7.5 18TD (long 80) (high game 241)
Antonio Chandler may be the best player to play in the NWFL in the past 15-20 years.
Antonio Chandler, 2004 regular season 8 of 8 games reported) 21-462 22.0 7TD (long 64) (high game 104) all games 14 of 15 games reported) 38-983 25.9 16TD (long 77) (high game 170)
I'd love to give Piper credit for 28 TDs in a season but his team didn't care enough to send in stats or film.
