Who are the gentlemen that are most deserving? Who are the coaches? Criteria should be based on but not limited too: 1. Years in the league -min of 5 2.Recognition- all league/all american 3.Team success-Were you on a winning team making plays or sub .500 team making plays? I was on both Viks/Jags!! 4.Quality over Quantity?- Should we put someone on here that had 13 rec td on a 5-5 team on here over someone who had 7 or 8 on a 9-1 or 10-0 team? This will be interesting!! 5. And the most important general respect amongst ones PEERS! -Some cats are more MESSAGE BOARD good than they are FIELD respected!! Every position has 2 spots. We should also have an ATH position for those players that played multiple spots.

I don't see any diference between 6-7 TDs in blowout wins and 13 TDs in blowout losses.
A 5-5 team probably doesn't score a lot. They might only have the one great player on offense. He's probably the focus of the defense the entire game.
A 10-0 team might score 13 TDs in two games. They probably have 3-4 receivers that the defense has to cover. With a team scoring 6-10 TDs per game there's plenty to go around.
Also, the 10-0 team probably has a much better QB and o-line than the 5-5 team.
Remember how great Cowboy's receiver Alvin Harper was when he played opposite Michael Irvin? He was the big name free agent and several teams bid on him to become their #1 receiver. Now that he was getting all the defense's attention he wasn't nearly as good and was out of the league within a few years.
Last time I posted any kind of all-star team several players left me nasty and threatening voice messages. Ah the good ol' days.

I am going to nominate myself for the NWFL all scrub team I played for: The Federal Way 49ers, Seattle Blue Devils, King County Jags (before they were champs), Renton Ravens (half a season, the Willamete Valley Raiders, a few charity games for the Viks, and one game for the Cavs. I played Wide Receiver for 6 years, Long snapped for 9 years, center for 2, and a plethora of other positions when needed. I had 5 receiving TD's (and another that should have counted), 2 passing Td's, several two point conversions, and maybe 20 tackles. The typical hard-hat, lunch box dude that had no business playing football that was typical of the NWFL in its glory days. lol

I deserve to be on this list for the greatest bench warmer. Nobody graced any bench like I could!

That's easy. Brian Pittman. He'd be considered for TE and DE as well. "Big Daddy" Don Garlits Purser would be in the longsnapper conversation if Pittman hadn't graced us with his presence.

David you're right about you as QB. With the Cavs, and last year as a bearcat we set our defense to stop you or contain you. I also think Jackson was a QB we had to plan for too. Tackling the Dwalt brothers was like tackling a VW bug they alway ran down hill. Had a chance to play with Vernen word last year, he's exciting to watch. Think piper is the best all around WR I've played against. As for O-line Guards ant Tackles from stallions an T-Bolts, But think #50 Don Orton the Best center. Baines wasn't the best at any one position but probably the best utility skilled player who could change a game. like Jake early at FS in between concussions, . At LB Chris Stokes and Brad Dennis. Other players #52 from Ravens, #5 and #2 I think from Bucs.
