I have to go with Tory Holt of the Rams. Last season against the Hawks he caught a spectacular catch and run for a touchdown juggling the football under pressure to give the Rams the lead with very little time remaining. Thank God Josh Brown booted a mammoth field goal with no time remaining for the V.
Holt is so good only Burger King can stop him.

Imma have to go with Steve Smith...just for the simple fact that he is feared and dangerous RAC...and because hes also dangerous as a returner

Lee Evans spells two 80 yard touchdowns in the first quarter. Number one.

I like receivers who can not only run routes but block as well such as Hines Ward.

that's a major asset to a team when a receiver or a running back blocks. good point.

I thought I already addressed this issue. How soon do we forget. darn' I'm good. The problem with stats is how do you judge an offensive line men? They are the back bone of any team and receive little if any recognition. Sometimes a running back doesn't touch the ball, but he blocks his arse off defending his qb, and does a fine job doing it, or he's a great blocking back for the tail back. Then there are the receivers who act as decoys and lay down some nasty blocks down field so their faster team mate can gain big yardage. There are no stats for these type of ballers.

There are 7 votes for other, but people didn't always list the WR. I think one person said Lee Evans (still scratching my head). Hines Ward is a great overall wide receiver, but would he be your first pick to start a team from scratch?

I mentioned Steve Raible. He's veteran, and would be a great asset to any starting team.

Hines Ward would be my first pick. He does do it all as a WR. And not to mention he went to UGA!!!

I like him and all, but he is just not my first pick.
As far as Raible, I would drop the elbow on him.

Hines Ward is a great overall wide receiver, but would he be your first pick to start a team from scratch? How can you be scractching your head, have you seen this guy play? It was an absolute travesty that he was not in the pro bowl last year, but he WILL be this year.

One season does not put you into the top 5. Everyone else on the list has a solid 3+ years of pro bowl-type seasons.Lee Evans had a decent season, but there is no one else to throw the ball to in Buffalo.
