The players will swap leagues in a heartbeat if they get paid more in the new league.

Maybe Keyshawn will come back? ;D
I really don't see this league doing anything. They will HAVE to get a few big name guys in the NFL to jump ship and join them to survive.
Right now the NFL is way to strong for any league to rival it and have any success.
The XFL was a good idea. I loved the cheerleaders. Like the way they did the "coin toss" and liked that punts were live! But the talent of the players killed that league! Just didn't have good enough talent to compete with big named guys in the NFL.

I liked the XFL but the national media hated the XFL and couldn't stand McMann. So they ragged on it until it died.

The Nicknames were pretty lame but other than that it was cool to me.America is affraid of new stuff. But at least the XFL did create opportunity for some guys to get to the NFL

Also that "on field" camera angle came from the XFL.

I hated the coin toss gimmick. It was so stupid. Having two safeties run after a sitting ball? What's that prove? Hell, why didn't they just draw straws or pull cards from a deck?

Come one Ted it was great. I can remember one guy broke his arm on that! And that is when that part took some heat. Nick man you know you loved the nicknames.

I LOVED the XFL, and I loved the nicknames. Obviously, I LOVED the cheerleaders! The XFLs mistake was they tried to go too big too fast. They SHOULD have taken the route that Arena Football took. Strictly some ESPN games from time to time, build an audience, then expand. It was a successful formula for Arena Football. And Rob is right, the media slammed it so hard, along with all those boring a$$ nightshow host (Leno and Letterman) that it didnt give people a chance to form their own opinion of the league.

I'm usually down for something new.Especially when it opens opportunities for people who don't usually get them, i.e scholarships and tv time to show off their talents. I believe in the Kenneth Jackson's of the world...LOL.But seriously I do.
