As, I sit here in my warm home, sipping a glass of orange juice reading the message board, I wonder why does there have to be so much negativity especially at a time in the year as this.
I would like to share how thankful I am. I am thankful for my wonderful husband Wes, my children & His children and our grand children. I'm thankful for my Dad, I'm glad I have you one more Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my siblings....all 8 of you.
I am thankful I was lucky enough to be born in the best darn country in the world. Where I have freedoms and I am able to live decently, have access to medical help, and education just to name a few things.
Since I have these things, that makes me thankful for our military. To all the military past, present and future, THANK YOU! Thank you for giving of yourselves, your families and unfortunately even the ultimate sacrifice your life. Thank you for protecting my country, to keeping it a safe place to live. Thank you for protecting my flag. I love my flag. Thank you for helping others in other nations. Thank you for allowing me to lay down and sleep at night, while you work in adverse conditions. Laying down at night, not having a spouse or child to snuggle up to, but your own dirty boots. Military men and women, I love you. We always say a Thanksgiving prayer at meal time and include you in it.
Thank you for my forefathers who had the foresight to create such a wonderful country. Thanks for my rights, I appreciate them and don't take them for granted.
Thank you for my health. Enough said.
Thank you NWFL for allowing the men in this league to have a great place to continue to play ball. Thanks Ron, Jeff & Lorrie, Wes, Chris & Don for always being at the meetings and trying to keep things going right! Thank you every member of the Snohomish County Vikings for allowing yourself to become part of our family and a special thanks to your family for allowing us to share you!
There are many other things to be thankful for, but I just touched on a few.....may you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving.
