Viking kicker Larry Moody hit a 35 yard field goal with 16 seconds remaining to give the Snohomish County Vikings a 10-7 victory over the West Sound Saints.
The Saints scored mid game by returning a blocked punt for a TD to take a 7-0 lead. The Vikings tied the game late in the 4th on a long drive. Their defense forced the Saints to punt and their offense drove for the game winner.

Oh what an exciting game.....You guys did it! You pulled out a win in the last few seconds....16 seconds to be exact! Rather reminiscent of the UW a couple of years ago. Wes says he nearly had a stroke, I nearly had a heart attack! On a more serious note, I was very touched to see you all on one knee holding hands while Larry attempted the winning field goal. You are all "team". Thank you. Wes and I love you all very much!

hahaha...Wes nearly had a stroke? Coach Fish, your team played their hearts out and gutted out the "W". Truly a reflection of what you have going on over there. You and Debbie should be proud of your Viks. Hope to see you and your Vikings again later.
Larry, It's nice to see you can make kicks now. But on a serious note...way to hang in there and keep up the confidence. If you tune them "out", those kicks will always go "in". Keep that in mind. Good luck!
p.s. John, his blocked punt for a score was early in the first quarter.
