Last nights practice reinjured my back, this morning I had to crawl out of bed miss my first day of work at my new job. My wife took me to the doctors and they now have me back on pain medication. I worked so hard to get back into shape dropping 40 pounds all so that I could play the game that I love! lastnights practice was the best practice I have had, it made me that much more excited to be able to come back and play for such a great team. It pains me in ways that I can't express to know that at 26 years old I have the sport that I love ripped away from me for the 2nd time in my life, the doctors say that my football career is over and that this was the chance I was taking to come out and play again. I think you have an amazing team and wanted nothing more than to be appart of that. I apoligize for any problems I may have caused with the leuge but my intentions were to come play for a great team and give you the best of ryan harrington! I would like to donate my football gear to your team I just bought brand new shoulder pads and cleats I also have game pants and helmet.I know you may have futher questions at this time I would rather not speak on the phone for I am very emtionally unstabble about this whole situation. I will come out to give you my equipment I just need a little time to breath.

Ryan,
I am sorry to hear that you re-injured your back! I far as I am concerned you are still welcome to be part of our team. We are here for you regardless if you are physically able to play or not! We are a family!
I had to cut my playing career pretty short due to injuries. I had a really hard time for a while with that, so I know what you are going through! Coaching has been a saving grace for me and I would love to have you out to coach and be a part of our team in any capacity you feel comfortable in.
Keep coming and you will soon realize that being around it will begin to take the sting away from not playing. I know it has for me! I respect your privacy and need to have a little space but call me if you need anything (971) 239-3480.

Ryan,
That really sucks dude. It was quite clear in practice that you have a tremendous love for the game. I really appreciated the time you spent showing me a few D-line moves. Coach Swain is right you definatley have some things to teach. I've missed having some one throw me around at the last few practices... hope to see you again at the Raiders practice field sometime.
