Whats up fellas this is the rookie #25 Fohey. Just wanted to say it's a honor to be playing football with you guys. It's a honor to be playing with the Dads on the team. A lot of guys dont get a second chance to put the pads back on, and play under the lights. I've been waiting for 7 years. Instead of dreaming about playing football again, we are living the dream. Dont let your dream slip by. And our practices, are showing that. I understand if you have to work, I understand if you have to watch the kids or live on the other side of the water. Money is tight this summer. If you can find a way to make it at least, to one practice, it will help. And our games will be a hell of a lot better. It's the same 10 to 15 guys all the time. Over half of them do not start. It's a shame. All I can say is that these guys will keep getting better and better. And later on they should have the right to step on the field on a Saturday night. To some of you, your probably saying "who the hell are you rookie to speak". I know! Maybe its different on the west coast. But where I come from if you dont practice you dont play. One practice a week, is your dream slipping by, is your heart not as strong as you thought. Las Vegas?

I agree man. At the same time I can understand where some people are coming from. Everyones got their own responsibilities, work, family, and all that. Some guys figure they don't have to be at practice to play so they don't show up. Thats fine, I think they should be there. They need to be there, but its their choice. It does suck, especially for all those guys like me that show up and won't start or may not even get on the field this year. But like you said don't let the dream pass by.
Those of us that show up week in and week out, we'll get our chance. When it arrives make the most of it. For those of you that are showing up, its awesome that you guys are there. Keep at it.

Hey you guys we appreciate you guys making it to practice every week the 25-30 of you guys know who you are. I know that you guys work hard and be ready at all times.

O linemen we always have like 4 or 5 but hey we need everyone there when possible. I am putting together a email list and phone list for the O linemen. If I do not have your phone number and email address email it to me at [e-mail].

Another thing we have the Armed forces day parade and the Viking fest day parade on Sat. Last year we had a big showing and it will only be bigger this year. Both parades are on TV and thousands of people come out to see it in person so please make time to support the team and be there. We will be lining up on 6th st at 9am for the Armed forces day parade. I would like all our players there along with dance team. (EARLY) You guys will have a good time in the parade, we did last year and the response from the crowd was great.

We are lining up at 9am for the first parade in Bremerton but we are going to meet up as a team at:

QFC Grocery Store Parking lot
Kitsap Way (by the Jack in the Box)
8am!!

We will pass out the jerseys then and the handouts. Gentlemen, we would really like a good turn-out for both parades. As Joe mentioned, last year we had a great turn-out and the Saints were a big hit. Moving backwards is coming up short of last year success. The second parade is in Poulsbo. It's the annual Viking Fest Parade. Again, this is important. We need our community to support us and this is our way to reach out to them and let them know who the Saints are.
