I'm Michael Murray the new owner of the West Sound Saints. So far this year I've made some changes for the better of the Saints. We have a new Head Coach in Les Archer. Our Defensive Coordinator is Mr. John Corey who has been apart of this organization for quite some time. Our General Manager/Director of Marketing is Mr. Joe Diabo. I also welcome the team secretary Ashley. These are only a few individuals who have worked to turn the Saints around into the right direction. There are more behind the scenes but all these people believe that we will repeat last year's success if not better. Our goal this year is a return to Orlando...bottom line.
PLAYER FEES - Due to last year's success and the start of a new era in West Sound Saints football, player fees will be reduced from last year's $150 for all. These are your new team fees:
Veterans (anyone who was on the West Sound Saints roster and played last year...no exceptions!!) - $50
Newcomers - $95
Fees will cover playing equipment costs. With your player fees, you will get a t-shirt and mesh shorts. I've cut these fees down a great deal to reward last years veterans and help bring in some more talent. If you can find cheaper anywhere else, let me know!! Because I've cut down these fees, I only ask for your fees to be paid in full by the first game of the season. Payment plans will be available for your convenience.
PRACTICE - There was a pretty decent turn-out at yesterdays practice and I commend all who took the time to show up. Especially my veterans who I'm expecting to lead the charge this year for the Saints. We are still looking for players at all positions to add depth and strength to our team. To my veterans, if you see your other teammates out in town, let them know of practice and get them there. We have under two months before the season opener. Practice won't make us perfect, but it will help iron out wrinkles and fine tune our game. Monday and Thursday, 6-8pm @ Pendergast Regional Park in Bremerton...GET THERE!!
PLAYER FORMS AND INFO - Please see the team Secretary Ashley to complete forms and submit other information that we need from you. You can get in contact with her at practice or call the Saints Office @ 360-271-0827. If you call please leave a message.
HOME FIELD - All of our regular season games are set and will be played at Silverdale Stadium @ Olympic High School. Unless some emergency arises, we will play our games there.
SEASON TICKETS/ADMISSION - We are in the process of printing our season tickets and should hopefully have them available for sale next week. Prices are as follows:
- Season tickets $20
- General Admission $6
- Military $5
- Students w/ID $3
- Children 12 and under FREE
We are looking to raffle out prizes during the game. More details later!!
TEAM UNIFORMS - In case you probably heard, we are going to get custom made uniforms this year. Due to a very generous donation, we are customizing our home uniforms this year. These uniforms were specially designed for the West Sound Saints. Our AWAY uniforms will be the same for this year. We are looking to add player names on the jerseys. So please find time to call the Saints Office @ 360-271-0827 and submit the following:
* Jersey number (two choices)
* Jersey and Pants size
* Name (please no nicknames e.g. Swoop, Lil Ray-Ray, He Hate Me, etc...)
If there is no answer, please leave a CLEAR message. More details will follow soon but we have gone great lengths to have this luxury.
