Is the bench press just for the 18/19, or do you want us OLDER folk to do it as well? Is there going to be a registration location at the stadium? Thanks. Looking forward to it.

Kevin what I think it means is that the 185lb bench is for 18-19 year olds and the 225 is for perspective players that are 20 years of age and older.

Thanks for the reply, I was kinda thinking that. Anyway having never done this....what is a good number of reps or the average for OL/DE/DT types? I know the NFL average is around 18, not sure what is considered respectable for this league. Thanks.

I think given the fact that this league consists of men with jobs which makes it difficult to get as much time in the gym or working out as much as the guys in the NFL, 18-25 is good. In the NFL for a OL/DL, +30 is really good. My cousin Isaac Sopoaga who plays for the 49ers shares the record of 45 reps. Since I've been with the organization, 21 has been the highest I've seen. Please keep in mind though that I haven't been to ALL the Saints try-outs. Hope to see you there on Saturday.

25 is pretty impressive. Good luck to the Commissioner Baines and his Bengals organization this year. May the best team win on July 8!!
