North American Football League (NAFL) Round 4 National Playoffs (Elite 8) Saturday, October 27, 2007 Sunset Chevrolet Stadium 1707 Main St, Sumner WA Kickoff 7:00 PM [/center] The 2007 North American Football League (NAFL) Pacific Coast Division Champion and 2007 Northwest Football League (NWFL) Champion, King County Jaguars are ranked #1 and #2 in the nation by Minor League Football News and the National Football Events Coaches poll respectively. The Jaguars will host the defending 2006 NAFL Champion and 2007 NAFL Longhorn Division Champion, Dallas Diesel currently ranked #5 and #6 in the nation by those same polls. The Jaguars and the Diesel will meet for the 2007 NAFL Western Conference Championship and the winner will advance to the NAFL ‘final four’. The winner of the ‘final four’ will advance to the NAFL Championship game (the Super Bowl of Minor-League Football), which will be played in Las Vegas Nevada on November 10, 2007. The NAFL playoffs are a national 64 team tournament, and the Jaguars have advanced to round 4 by defeating the Willamette Valley (WA) Raiders 30-6 (round 1), the Oregon Thunderbolts 34-0 (round 2) and last weekend received a forfeit victory over the Southern California Steelers (round 3). After a first round bye, the Dallas Diesel advanced to the Western Conference Championship with victories over the Sharks (Sugarland, TX) 49-0 and the Bay Area Gamblers (Pearland, TX) 24-20. The 2007 Dallas Diesel team has averaged just over 32 points per game while giving up only 8.5. The Diesel are lead by QB’s Tim Smith and Arthur Robinson, RB’s Canoya Jefferson, Ricky Madison and Quantae Gregg, WR’s Rich Morris and Clayton Brookins and the 2006 Diesel leading scorer, Kicker Sean Riley. Defenders Chris Glenn and Mike Larry lead the Dallas defense. The Diesel’s large offensive line averages 345lbs which favors both the Diesel’s running and passing game. The Diesel’s only blemish this season was a close 10-9 loss to the Bay Area Gamblers. The Diesel sports an impressive 12-1 record coming into this weekend’s game. The undefeated King County Jaguars have averaged just over 37 points per game while giving up a very stingy 4.3 points per game. The Jaguars are lead by QB James Phillips, RB’s Nathan ‘Tank’ Proctor and Malachi Dewalt, and WR’s Michael Bush, Carlos Clark and Anthony Montgomery. On defense the Jaguars are lead by leading tacklers Dion Alexander, Robert Brown and Fred Hardwell. Sack leaders Terrance Stitt, Shawn Lovelace and Willie Stewart play a big roll and interception leaders Milton Meyers and Duane Bowen receive respect from opposing offensives. The Jaguars record is 14-0 for the 2007 season, and boast a 38 game regular season winning streak. This will be the second time the Diesel team has had to meet the Jaguars in ‘Death Valley’, which is the name given to the Jaguars home field. In the 2005 NAFL Western Conference Championship the Jaguars defeated the Diesel in a thrilling 27-24 victory. This clash of the titans promises to be another exciting NAFL playoff game and a game you won’t want to miss.

Diesel website
The Diesel Defeated the Bay Area Gamblers Saturday night 24-20. It was a back and forth game all night. The Gamblers offense moved the ball easily throughout the second half racking up over 200 yards of passing. The Diesel defense allowed the dink and dunk style of the Gamblers. However the Diesel bent, but they did not break. They held the Gamblers when it counted. The Diesel offense dominated on the ground and had good success in the air.
The Diesel head to Seattle to take on the King County Jaguars the winner of that game will be in the final four.
