I played 5 games with the Stallions due to injury, still All American. The Vikings coaches ALL know me and what I am capable of.

I played 5 games with the Stallions due to injury, still All American. The Vikings coaches ALL know me and what I am capable of. but you didn't play. Thats the point in my opinion. If the Vikings vote you All-American because they know you are good but you didn't play, then you didn't really earn the All-American status did you? You received it. Based on your previous posts, it sounds like you want to earn it right?

Yes siree bob! I feel I DID earn it with my play, BOTH YEARS as a Jag. Even though we didnt play against THOSE teams, the LEAGUE as a whole knows that the Jags became a better team with the additions of me and Larry. And Carlos did the same as we did, whats the excuse there?

How the heck should I know why people voted for who they voted for in regards to Kenny and Carlos?
The League does know what you are about Keith. I'm not going to beat a dead horse. I've given you all the respect a person can give. Everyone else in this league knows you are the best.
you EARNED that.
This stupid effing title you are going after is a freaking popularity contest. Nothing more.
I'm done trying to figure out what the heck you are "going for" in this years season. I truly can't figure it out.
Respect? You have it.
Credit? You have it.
Vindication? Gee, the best O-lineman on the back to back champions??? You have it.
Is this really about a bullshat title?

come on now Chris, when you've been in the league a while and dominate just as long as Keith has you'll understand his beef, yes we all know he is great, we also know lineman have a thankless job. I know personally that one of Keiths goals was to make all-american, last year was suppose to be his "grand finale". It's clearly about respect, it feels good to get a pat on the back publicly, is it wrong to feel that way? I don't believe so.
Someone let us know how the voting is done, what is the criteria for all-american?

Chris, I dont want you to figure it out. You SHOWED me your respect for me, I have nothing but the same for you. This has been a goal of mine for some time as Larry just explained. Like I said in a post earlier on this Jags site, I want to be one of the sole causes of a teams success. I want to help bring up a new BIGG DOGG. The Jags are already established, there is nothing the Jags NEED me for. The Stallions on the other hand NEED me to help ensure success!

And the only reason I brought up Carlos and Kenny was due to your explanation of certain players not getting their due props.

Can we change the subject? this is like beating a dead horse. Good luck Larry and Keith w/ the Stallions, stay healthy, cause it is defiantely harder to do as you get older. As far as this All American cr@p, if you didn't get it last year, which I personally believe you both should have been there also, then buck up and come back stronger this year. You guys want to be the superstars of your team, by all means go out there and show us all, even though we already know what you are capable of. I have much respect for you all, especially Keith, since we have played next to each other for so long, but honestly fellas lets all concentrate on helping our teams get to the championship, let the chest beating for individual praise come after we hang up our helmets in the final game. Chris, you got some work to do buddy, I would like to see you in the upper crust of the league soon!

This stupid effing title you are going after is a freaking popularity contest. Nothing more. I missed this quote when I wrote my last post.
Populararity eh? when the hell did I become so popular. Do not delude the fact that I have been in this league for over 10 years, and like Larry and Keith, was/is still one of the most dominant lineman in this league, if not the region in a whole. Even though I agree with Keith and Larry both about the system being flawed, I WAS selected as an All American, and if any wish to see why, by all means line up against me on D in a game.

Only voting for people you've played against is something I've tried, without much luck, to stress in the All-League voting.
If someone didn't play against you, or watch you on a few different game films, they really don't know how well you played THIS year.
The Hall of Fame is a reward for your entire career. All-League and All-American should only be based on your performance THIS season.
Guys like Dan Marino and Jerry Rice are easily among the best ever to play the game, but they weren't All-Pro their last few years in the league.

They didnt deserve it either. Like Ron says, the issue should be dead now. This will be the last I bring it up. I just know that I am now with a team who will always need me to play effectively. The Jags will be just fine without me and Larry. We will all see June 30th.

The funny thing is I don't even know what I 'm capable of, I seem to get better every year, I seem to pick up different things as the years progress. I'm at the ripe age of 28, I've never played college ball, so I've never had the right teachings at this level, except when Trent was coaching us, If I had him my whole semi-pro career, trust me "semi" would be dropped from that title. I've gotten by in this league with bad technique, bad habits, and being out of shape, I'm just a big man with good feet. So continue to think you know what I'm capable of, you just might find a surprise waiting for you.
Good luck in your season Jags, I have no hard feelings towards anyone, we can't afford to overlook any Team in this league.

The King Co Jaguars would like to announce that we have picked up two great players. Mike Bush of the SF 49er/WSU and Dwayne Buckley. I am sure these two players will help the Jaguars in their quest for an National Championship.
Coach Scott P.S still looking for TE, OL and Special team players
