2007 Minor League Football Association (MLFA) WEST TEAMS: www.cvfl.org/custpage.php?cid=15230(UPDATE) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor_League_Football_AssociationLooks like 36 teams now... (So far with more CA teams climbing on-board) The way it looks now Jaguar fans, As the only NWFL team in the MLFA and the FWFA, the Jaguars will play the Champion of the Cascade Football League (CFL) for the NW Championship. The winner of this game will take on the Champion of N. California for the MLFA West National Championship. The winner of the MLFA West National Championship will play the MLFA East National Champion at a location soon to be determined before the regular season starts. Could be Fresno, Seattle, San Francisco, St. Louis. The MLFA West Champion will also advance further into the FWFA tournament. If the Cascade Football League Champion knocks the Jaguars out of this playoff system in the first round, the MLFA West will set up a season ending bowl game with a quality N. California team if the Jaguars want to continue to play. It would be a game for fun and a way to say thanks to the guys, volunteers and fans. Of course these MLFA playoffs are after the NWFL regular season and after the NWFL playoffs have ended. Meanwhile as we play our NWFL season the MLFA West playoffs will be underway in California (June, July) and up here the MLFA West playoffs will start in mid-September after the NWFL Championship game. The MLFA West National Championship game in early October, and the MLFA National Championship in late October or early November. It's great to be a Jaguar.

Hello Jags fans, our website is now updated check it out www.kcjags.com . We have updated the Jaguar history section, contact information on wanting to become a Jaguar and have added some links. Click on the new link called Kent Valley Sports. Very cool site, it has lots of information about the Kent, Auburn, Maple Valley, Federal Way area sports teams as well as Husky sports and all of the pro teams around here. Great photo's of all the area games as well. Kent Valley Sports wants to take pictures of the Jaguars next season and will post these photo's on their website. Welcome to Jaguar football. You came to the right place. With your dedication and determination you will help aide the Jaguars in our quest to repeat as NWFL Champions. Our season schedule against tough NWFL teams includes a home game in mid-July, a bowl game called the Kent Cornucopia Bowl. This Bowl game is during Kent's Cornucopia Days (Seafair) weekend celebration, the oldest and largest festival in the South King County area where up to 300,000 visit each year. Last season was our first involvement with the KCD. The Jaguars had a booth, participated in the Kent Cornucopia Days Parade where there were some 60,000 cheering people witnessing the Jaguars parade by. The parade and the Jaguars appeared on the local Kent Public Access TV. At the game, the Mayor of Kent came to watch and speak to the crowd, the Cornucopia Queen and her court came to make an appearance and the US National Guards marching band participated at this bowl game. We anticipate even larger crowds coming to this game in 2007. www.kcdays.com/jaguar_football.htm The 2005 & 2006 NWFL Defending Champion Jaguars are also members of the Minor League Football Association where at the end of our season we (Jaguars) will play in the MLFA West tournament first against the Cascade Football League Champion then against a top California team or we will be playing in a post season bowl game depending on how well we do in the NWFL. The Jaguars are also in the FWFA tournament. In addition to top quality players the Jaguars have top notch coaches and a top notch staff who are getting better, I must say every season. Email General Manager Lorrie@rareycpas.com. Send her your contact info, phone numbers, email etc. We are just starting to discuss when the first player meeting will be for next year. Also, watch our website at www.kcjags.com for upcoming events and a contact fill in form that we are working on. Again welcome aboard.

Chief, Yes and it's very little travel in the first round(s) for the 6 NW teams before the winner (CFL Champ or Jags) takes on the N. California winner. Even then San Francisco is but a 14 hour bus ride from Seattle if we had to go there. Better yet...N. California may have to come up here this time unless a team from up here wants to travel south to the warm weather.

Jags, Keeping you updated with the big picture and what I find going on. The new Southwest Football Association (SWFA) eteamz.active.com/swfa/index.cfm? joined the MLFA (MLFA East). This doesn't effect us Jags directly but it shows that the MLFA is growing. The MLFA has approximately 48 teams now with a good possibility of more teams on the way. The MLFA West and the FWFA post season tournaments are growing out west here. The NAFL appears now to be a plain states to the Atlantic coast league. Here are the teams: American Conference & National Conference Dallas Warriors Louisiana Survivors San Antonio Ravens Lafayette Hurricanes Austin Regulators Louisiana Eagles Louisiana Roadrunners Texas Titans Hammond Vipers Houston Cardinals New Orleans Blazin' Bulldogs Fort Hood Phantom Warriors

Here's some information of interest for us Jaguar fans as we approach the 2007 Season. As you know the King County Jaguars are members of the Far West Football Association’s (FWFA) post season play. The FWFA is broken up into two Zones (Zones 1 & 2).
Zone 1 is leagues that were involved when the FWFA first began and are geographically close to one another. Made up of leagues in Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, and California.
Zone 2 of which the Jaguars are an independent member of, are among leagues located in Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Northern and Southern California.
The reason the FWFA is broken up into two Zones is because of travel cost considerations. There is no difference in quality of play between Zone 1 and Zone 2.
The FWFA Championship is played in early December at Mesquite NV. Mesquite is located 1hr NE of Las Vegas at the Arizona border.
Leagues of the 2007 Far West Football Association (Zone 2)
King County Jaguars, Northwest Football League Central Valley Football League (N. California) Cascade Football League (Washington) Pacific Coast Football League (S. California) Copper State Football League (Arizona) Wild West Football League (S. Nevada)

JAGUAR SUPER BOWL PARTY (Feb 4th) MLK WAY SEATTLE-Approximately 100 Jaguar players, family, Jag fans and regular football loving fans came to Coach Jeff Scott’s Best Dam(n) Sports Bar www.bestdamn-sportsbar.com/ . A good time was had by all even for Chicago Bears fans. The Jaguars provided free BBQ hotdogs, chili, coleslaw, chips, dip, and meat trays for everyone. Free Jaguar raffle tickets were handed out at the door. During this exciting Super bowl the Jaguars raffled off King County Jaguar hats and T-shirts. Laughter broke out on the very first raffle number read to the raffle ticket holding crowd when the first winning ticket belonged to a visiting West Sound Saint guest. After the Super bowl, karaoke was available for all those who stayed. Next week Jaguar Running Back Vernon (VW) Word will be celebrating his birthday at the Best Dam(n) Sports Bar. He’s inviting friends and family. The next get together will be a King County Jaguar free try out and practice on Saturday March 3rd at 11am, French field in Kent. nwfl1.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1170658439 To add to Coach Scott's list, also returning are Craig, Steve, Carlos, Anthony, Mike and Dan so far….

I wasnt good enough. knock it off Keith. The only reason you aren't there is because you didn't play the full year with the Jaguars. You missed the Vikings and Ravens games and they are arguably the most active voters for All-American. Larry missed out because he did the same as you and he was late to almost every game. Thats why you two aren't there!!!!!
