Howdy ya'll. I'm a newby to the NWFL and wonderin' if anyone is runnin' any preseason skelly workouts or team conditioning drills. I'd love to meet some of the Jags & get some group conditioning in.
I'm currently working my old college workout and conditioning MWF at 06:30am down at French Field.
Hollar at me if your interested in joinin' me or know of anything goin' on with the squad. Particularly Skelly Sessions.

I haven't balled since December 30, 2003 & outside of some sporatic training here & there & messin' around at practice with a team I coached last year in Austria, I'm completely out of shape. I'm flyin' through our 10 week summer workout (just learned about ya'll & am only in week 2). it's no cakewalk, but it's the only offseason workout to beat both USC & Texas in the last four years, I'm thinkin' it'll do the job.
my program for next week (feb27-mar3) (all at 06:45am French Field): - MONDAY: gassers (i'll be laggin' because sunday I'll have ridden the "Chilly Hilly" bike ride (33 miles of hills around Bainbridge) for some low impact cardio but I still plan on makin' my times). - TUESDAY: agility/acceleration & footwork (basically, some jump rope, cone drills & reaction sprints) - THURSDAY: ladder (x2 sets) - FRIDAY: agility/acceleration & footwork (same as tues)

Youngstunt, was that you doin' a few DB footwork drills this mornin'? If so, sorry I didn't come over & introduce myself. I pretty much just got through today's workout; 33 hilly miles on a bike wore me down more than I thought it would.
Anyway, due to a surgery of an employee at my work, I'm going to begin work at 06:00 on Tuesdays, so the workout has been changed from 06:45 to the evening, Time TBD.
Thursday/Friday'll be the same as scheduled, but my Tuesday workouts will be postponed to the afternoon for the next month or so.

I coached DL with the Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders (now Swarco Raiders Tirol) Who'd you play with? ...hopefully not Vienna.

No, not the Vikings, I played for the Klosterneuburg Mercenaries, now the Danube Dragons I think.

Yeah, they're the Dragons now. They had a tough year last year, but I think they'll be on the up now that the Vikings have been screwin' around with their local talent & importing a TON of Amis. I foresee a mass exodus of the Wieners headin' over to Danube to ball, & they've got a LOT of Austrian talent that never sees the field. Should be interesting.
