Hey guys I am the oldest or close to the oldest linman on the team at 35 it has been almost 20yrs since I have played and I am out of shape so I think that we should get together at least one night a week in between practices to work on conditioning. I need it and I am sure most of you need it too. We are the back bone of the team without the linemen nobody can do any of the great things they do.
I have a quote to share with you that I found a few years back that I think is a great motivator:
"I'd rather attempt great things and blow it, than to succeed at meaningless things and get by"
So lets go and win a championship!!!!

What I am thinking is that stregth training with wieghts is great but they do not build endurance which is what we need for four quarters of football. So that is what I am talking about. I also see that 3 aweek practice is starting and that will help alot but I figured that we as the backbone of the team need more time building conditioning and comunication with each other. I feel that if it requires us as linemen to stay longer at practice or come in on off days we owe it to our selves as well as the team to be the best we can be and then some. champions are champions all the time and do what it takes to stay the best, right? I probly need the most improvment out of everyone on the team and I will do what it takes to be the best I can. So how about you?

I am down to do more conditioning. I can stay after at practices or whatever. I work normal hours now. (used to work graves) Let me know or we can talk about it on Saturday!~ JB 206-349-2814

Just keep coming to Practice,and I'll get you in shape. One other thing, I like that fact that you guys are coming together.
FOR ALL LINEMEN, COME EARLY AND GET SOME EXTRA CONDITION FROM COACH SCOTT. I will count how many show up.
