Of course the auto-response from Rob Rarey on their board is to make me out as some kind of hater and that "I" have somehow convinced so many people not to like the ways of the NWFL! (I wish I had that power! LOL!) And he has no idea why "I" would have any angst towards the Jags....hmmm...maybe because HE and "my master" and the rest of their chronies are non-stop #&_* talkers about the PNFC, the OFL, the EFL, the GNFA, and whomever else disagrees with their methods. Oh and nevermind the fact that it was Rarey and Jags management who punked out on May 5th when the Shockers challenged the Jaguars to a game; "it's too early for us" they proclaimed and after the Saints stepped up (thank you Rollis) to play the Shockers, the Jags quickly scheduled the Lakewood Wolves...hmmm...too early for the Shockers, but just right for the Wolves I guess. No I don't like double talkers and two faced individuals. Have I masked it that well up to this point? Karma: the Wolves folded before the Jags could play them.
("my master" will quickly link this and pounce on it with some spin as to how "I" am the evil one that won't let the NWFL play with the GNFA! Or better yet, will come up with some cute picture depicting his feelings on the subject.)
Maybe one day those guys will figure out that 24 teams are not going to change their schedules to accomodate 9 summer teams in their quest to be a part of a meaningful regional championship.
Yes Rob, John and the rest of the trash talkers; I personally don't like you when you constantly want to downplay what we are doing with the GNFA, the PNFC, the EFL, the Shockers, or whatever else we do.
I DO NOT speak for the GNFA, the PNFC, the OFL or the EFL in this matter, these opinions are mine and mine alone. I own up to them!

It's this type of arrogance displayed in the NWFL that pisses off the other leagues and then they wonder why others don't want anything to do with them: (this is from a 3-loss Stallion player talking on the NWFL board)
"Lets not get it twisted. This will not be a cakewalk for the Jags. These guys destroyed a pretty good SHOCKER team. The ORIGINAL STALLION team went out there and waxed the best EFL teams a$$ last year. BUT, in the process, we found out that they DO play some pretty good ball out there. With that said, Jags should pull this out."
How quickly they forget that it was a Shocker QB (John Stewart) that saved their MAN when they didn't have a QB and pulled that game out for the Stallions and earned MVP and Biglin getting hurt and not able to finish didn't help the Knights morale. Not exactly "waxing" MAN. It was those same Shockers who were 2-yards from a first down and 11-yards from a TD that would have sunk the Stallions (er...NWFL All-Stars) as well.
Maybe I'm biased a bit, but I don't think the Stars felt like they "destroyed" the Shockers given that it was 7-3 at halftime 24-10 in the 4th quarter before an INT in the flats put it up to 31-10 late.
Of course, nobody else can play football like the NWFL...they are after all just 1 letter away from the NFL. I bet the KC Jaguars could give the Seahawks a run for their money...maybe even beat the Arizona Cardinals! (rolling my eyes)

The following is my own personal opinion and in noway reflects the views of the GNFA, PNFC, or any members thereof:
From Rob Rarey:
"Mark Meadows no need to keep hate slamming the NWFL and the Jaguars....give me a call. 206-235-8171. Maybe we can work this out."
Here's the thing Rob, I'll call and work out my irritation with you guys when you publicly go on the message boards and admit that Jags management ducked the Shockers on May 5th when the open date was presented to you well in advance of any agreement you had to play the Wolves (I verified this with Rich). No excuses. You guys didn't want to play the Shockers then and made arrangements to play the Wolves after telling us it was too early. Do that, and I'll talk to you. I don't hold grudges, just own up to it. In the meantime, while you mull that over let me give you my other personal reasons for disliking the things about the NWFL:
1) NWFL teams showing up late to play the Shockers.
2) Saints delaying the start time of the game 30 minutes before start time of the game after the Shockers had gone through warm ups and were ready to go.
3) NWFL teams showing up with mismatched uniforms and helmets and looking bush-league in general. (Do the Shockers do that on your turf?)
4) Making excuses for getting beat by "jv" teams, like "it was just our preseason". (Own it...you got beat, you could have practiced more if you chose to, move on or don't schedule those games anymore...we count EVERY game)
5) "my master".
6) Publicly lying about other teams, like saying the Shockers were scared to play the Jags when we offered a date.
7) The Raiders trying to back door one of the PNFC teams and get us to cancel a CONFERENCE game so they could get a "preseason" game on the basis the game was going to be a forfeit anyway. (The Dragons nutted up and played in spite of the naysayers...kudos to them)
8) The Thunderbolts a couple of years ago wanting the Shockers to pay for 1/2 of THEIR field expenses to host us in a game in Portland. What the hell logic is that? Obviously the Shockers said no.
9) The arrogance that you guys are somehow better than anyone out there because some teams choose not to spend the money to travel to Florida to play games. Different teams have different goals...doesn't make you superior because of it.
10) Expecting the GNFA teams to move their start dates to accomodate the NWFL. How about the 9 teams of the NWFL move their start date to April to accomodate the 24 teams that already are there? Majority rules. Wasn't the arguement for summer ball that it doesn't conflict with schools? Umm...how many times have games been changed in the past month because of conflicts with schools? Now you want your champ to play the GNFA champ who hasn't played in almost two months just to suit YOUR needs.
If there is something invalid about any of these things please by all means explain it to me. Otherwise, stop trying to make me out to be the bad guy and pawn off that you guys are the ones trying to work things out...because that's not the truth.
Myself, the Shockers and the GNFA have certain expectations and standards that I'm sorry to say, a majority of NWFL teams right now are not prepared or willing to meet. It's not that we are hating on the players of the NWFL over it. It's not on them to change those things.
Ask any Shocker player what happens to a starter who refuses to wear the appropriate uniform attire, pull up his socks, or tuck in his jersey.
It's those little things that separate us from you guys Rob. And the fact that we will not compromise on those things is what grates certain individuals in your league.
Again...these are my own personal opinions and they may vary from those of other individuals within GNFA or PNFC organizations.
