Fellas its about that time, so get rid of the nerves and get your game face on, and lets handle our business. Its our first game of the year and lets start off strong, we set the tone for the rest of the season by bringing it hard, and balls out only. We meet up at Saturday around 11:30 am at our practice field and we will head out from there. for those of you driving on your own make sure you leave Portland by 12:30 no later then that. Remember there is only 1 lane open when we get up there for a five mile stretch, believe me there will be traffic. So be responsible and get there at least 2 hours before kick off. if you have any questions call me at (503)753-8788 Remember "players win games, and coaches lose games". lets take it to the Vikings

I'm posting the stats at www.nwfootball.net/vikings/game100522tbolts.phpI updated your roster just prior to the game but gave that copy to the PA announcer. If your name/jersey # was incorrect on the roster then please post the correct information here. Thanks! A few questions off the top of my head: Oregon Thunderbolts or Portland Thunderbolts? #5 - name? Taylor Worley - #9 or #26 It was good seeing you David, Jay and Ace. Good luck in the rest of your season.

Hey guys I just wanted to say sorry for not being able to get out to support you guys yet! I have been very busy with my high school porgram!
I heard 18 guys battled Saturday and I was happy to hear that we played well. Coach Brannon, Coach Lyonel, and Coach Atwood are the best around! Work hard, listen, and stick together and they will lead you to the promise land! Older guys make sure you make the younger guys what it means to be a Bolt!
Always a Bolt Coach Swain

The stats are done - www.nwfootball.net/vikings/game100522tbolts.phpPlease post any corrections here. I need names for #3, #51 and #58, and I think it #72 who was listed on the roster with different number. I never did hear why the Oregon Thunderbolts switched back to "Portland Thunderbolts". Is the team or league worried that fans would be driving all over Oregon trying to find their games? This has an issue with the league for as long as I can remember. I think it was '99 when the then "Portland Thunderbolts" changed their name name to the "Oregon Thunderbolts" to get a wider appeal in the region as Oregonians outside of Portland apparently did not realize that Portland is in Oregon.
