I am not writing this for attention, I just want you guys to think about what I have to say.
Why are we all being so negative with each other? I understand the frustration towards people who never come, but even then who cares if someone does not want to come- if they do not want to play that is there choice. Just worry about what you can control.
But even amongst the people who do come to practice I see people tearing eachother down. People bitching like little girls, that is not the game of football, because girls do not play football.
I understand I am struggling as a conventional throwing QB, I get it guys. It is no secret. It has been extremely hard for me to convert from a confident option qb to a conventional throwing QB. I used to run and pitch all over defenses, and loved it. Now I am learning a west coast offense that only has one play where I can use me legs to my advantage. My point is this is a big enough challenge for me as it is with out players tearing me down. But when my own teammates yell at me, and tear me down it makes it even harder. This game is all mental, and support (or lack of) from your teammates can have a huge effect on an athletes performance.
If some of you want to continue to be negative to myself or others on the team, it really is not a big deal because I am not going to quit. I refuse to, but you are not helping me or the team. Just do not forget that even if you are a Mr. to me I will be good to you. I will continue to do what I believe is right. If the football hits you right in the hands and you drop it, even if you are a Mr. to me I refuse to tear you down. I will have your back and rally behind you now have mine.
