Only NAFL teams will be allowed to play in the NAFL playoffs. Which means that the NWFL teams will NOT be able to participate. All teams were given the opportunity to join the NAFL, only the Jaguars and the Saints chose to make the move. The caveat was that you could not be in both leagues. It was one or the other and only the teams that made the decision to leave the NWFL and join the NAFL will be able to participate in the NAFL playoff system.
I have heard that some NWFL team owners still think that the NAFL will allow them into the playoffs at the end of the season, but that will not happen. The NAFL NW divisions have more than enough teams to run the first two rounds of the playoffs and round three is regional anyway. So the idea that the NAFL will not have enough teams for the playoffs is just incorrect.
So, to recap, only NAFL teams will be in the NAFL playoffs. Here are the NAFL NW teams:
West Sound Saints King County Jaguars British Columbia Spartans Kitsap County Bears North King County Wildcats Valley Mustangs Tacoma Predators East County Blackshirts Cottage Grove Gryphons Southern Oregon Renegades
The Clark County Yellow Jackets are a 2009 NAFL team playing an independent schedule for 2008.
