Watts up with ya boy Joe? Smart move would be to sign Culpepper.

Why so he can blow the first 6 games just to have Harrington come in and win a few and still miss the playoffs

Yea but Culpepper was spposed to be "healthy" last season too. He won what 1 game. Harrington won 8. Culpepper WAS a good quaterback. But I'm not sure he can make a come back and be near as good as he was. Espically without a WR in his prime like Randy Moss was. What a $hitty time for the Birds to trade Shaub!

Harrington > Culpepper
Finally! Joey will get a decent chance to shine. I really think he will surprise people this year. I'm not saying he will be top 5 but I believe he will get the job done.

You got more faith than I do. B/c the Birds OL is AWFUL!!! It's improved from last year (hopefully). BUt not enough to protect him. So if he makes it through the season he might be alright. But ATL's WR aren't the greatest. And in ATL when things go wrong we blame the QB. ;D But if Harrington goes down there is always Dj Shockley...

they spent to much money and time building the team around vick and now they have to start over. they might go 2-14. its going to take a few years and players to get them back to 500. they should start trading for good young O-lineman and just start rebuilding from there.

Do you think vick will end up in arena league after jail. I don't see him making it back to the NFL if he gets more than 2 years.

I don't think he's going to jail. He's got good lawyers and I kind of doubt the guy who pled guilty and agreed to rat everyone out will live long enough to make it to the trial to testify. Something tells me the other 2 guys he is ratting out aren't your typical bible thumping law biting citizens. I don't see them wanting to go to jail any more than Vick does.
I don't think he'll play this season. But he'll be back at one point or another.
My Birds will be alright. 2-14? Come on now. They'll win at least 6-8 games. They had a darn' good draft. And alredy got 2 young Olinemen. Playoffs this year? Probably not. If Vick is back in 08 or if they get a good RB in the draft... for sure next!

do you think they will take vick back. I know some players have done worse and made it back, but it looks like they are trying to make an examle out of him.

The Falcons owner doesn't like to be made a fool of. Just look at how fast Mora was gone after his Seattle radio comments. It will depend on how people look at Vick after the trial.

First off the feds have a 95% win to 5% lose. they would not have indited him if they didn't have a case. next, if he is found guilty he is in a consperesy which starts at 5 years min. they could give him more if he is found to be the leader of this outfit. which would put him in a kingpin roll where he would start at ten years and up. Vick could be very old but he could make it back as a coach. ha ha. no I wouldn't want anyone to be put into jail. If he has to do time the fed system is not bad. they would put him in a low security prison. I don't think people will ever look at Vick in a good way guilty or not. people will only see dollar sign when they look at him. how can we make a dollar off this guy. thats what they have been doing since day one of his nfl start.

Ouch!!!! I've got to say as a Falcons fan it's pretty devastating that our #1 guy has let this happen. The Falcons will have a blackeye for a long time to come over this. So question.... Who do we pick at the #1 spot in the draft?
